Been running these in my newly rebuilt t140. Bike runs great but when I pulled the plugs they are fairly black. I'm running #8's. Is anyone running #7's?

Meant to type t150, can't seem to find the edit function.
Hi,
A post can only be edited either 'til someone answers it or for three days after it's posted, whichever is shorter; Kil answered so you can't edit your original post.
Afaik, NGK plugs with iridium centre electrodes perform similarly to ones with platinum or gold/palladium centre electrodes; i.e. they work better over a wider temperature range than more-common copper-centre-electrode plugs.
Given that property, and how hot it can become in Houston, I'd question the wisdom of using a 'hotter' plug heat range - e.g. "7" instead of "8" - especially when, as Kil posted, the problem you described in your first post is likely nothing to do with the plugs?
Hth.
Regards,
I think that will be more rich mixture than plug choice..
