Production and Works racers had spectacular successes in their short racing season. Production racers were campaigned successfully in 1969 and throughout the early 70's. One famous production racer, "Slippery Sam", won the Isle of Man TT five years in a row!

The works race team commissioned Rob North to build 12 frames for the 1971 season.

Tony Jeffries won the Formula 750 TT.
Dick Mann won at Daytona.

For the 1972 season the steering head was lowered by about 2 inches. The new frames were called "lowboys" (causing the previous frames to now be called "highboys").
