Using your internet-enabled phone . . .

You can now use your internet-enabled mobile phone to access Triples Online!

Internet access via your mobile phone is accomplished via WAP (Wireless Application Protocol). You will need two things:

  • An internet-enabled mobile phone. Check with your service provider to see if your phone is capable of using the internet. If it isn't you will need to trade up to a newer model.
  • You will need to activate (ie: pay for!) internet service (sometimes called "mobile web" or "mobile data") - typically this is in addition to your regular mobile phone's voice service. In the US this can cost an additional $5 to $15 per month on a mobile phone - or around $50 per month if you go for unlimited internet access from a PDA/Smartphone/Blackberry.

The screens on mobile phones are relatively small and often don't support as much of the standard web technology that a PC supports. This can make using the phone to browse a regular website somewhat difficult - the menus and page links are hard to navigate, graphics can display erractically (if at all), etc. If a website doesn't provide pages specifically for mobile phones then it will be very difficult for you to navigate and use the site effectively.

To ensure a pleasant experience while using a mobile phone we have provided specific pages that will allow you access to certain areas of Triples Online from your phone.
To try it out simply go to http://www.triplesonline.com from your web enabled mobile phone.
Triples Online should automatically recognize you as a mobile phone user and provide you the appropriate web pages.
